I am thinking about purchasing a xB and wanted to know if they use Toyota parts or do you have to get special Scion parts? Are the parts interchangable? Are the parts hard to come by?

They're ALL Toyota parts; Scion is made by Toyota!

OK, maybe I don't understand the question. If you want parts to fit a particular model of car, you need to order the parts for that model. Some are shared among different models, but you still need to have the correct part. So, if you get an xB, and you order an xB part, it will fit on your xB, even if it is shared with another Toyota or Scion model . . . .

 

Every Scion is made with special parts.

 

Buy one, there is a long list of fun mods to personalize your box to "your" liking. If you are strong willed then post pics here are see if others share your vision. It's loads of fun, there is always something on the " to do " list. Look around here there are all kinds of idea's good and bad. Look, read, and then read more just so you understand. Good luck.

 

The xB shares many engine parts with the former Toyota Echo. Scion parts are as easy as any other Toyota part unless you are in Canada or something like that.

 

They won't be any harder to get parts for than any other Toyota product. You won't regret your purchase. Good luck.

 

about the only thing on It thats Scion is the Bagdes even the windows say TOYOTA

 

yeah.. esp with the xB... there's a toyota jdm counterpart... so either way... same company.... engine is shared amoungst other cars.. and yea...

parts are easy to find..... just some of them you might have to dig deep in your pocket...
