Aftermarket Accessories VS TRD
Wondering if anyone can help me with this topic, I know how I feel about aftermarket product, but if anyone can chime in here and help with a couple questions that would be cool.
1. When purchasing your Scion would you prefer TRD accessories or some other aftermarket brand? or the option of having both?
2. After wheel and tire upgrades, what is the next thing you would purchase for your ride? engine mods, body kits, wings etc... something other than what I mentioned.
3. How about wheel and tire packages, do you like TRD or some other brands like falken etc??
4. Your thoughts on this....

I bought my xB at Clair Scion with everything in my sig, so yes having aftermarket stuff available is key. Joe at Clair Scion is the ****!!!
I think my answer for question #1 answers the rest of your questions... aftermarket, aftermarket, aftermarket...

I have to chime in on this.
1. Every upgrade on my car is TRD.
springs, sway, strut brace, intake, exhaust, ____ kit/****, and 19 rims on the way.
2. Dont get me wrong after market stuff is great, sometimes better performance over the trd and certainly in most cases cheaper.
3. yet the dilemma with aftermarket (and this debate has been done on this forum tons of times) is for me re-sale value. TRD is toyota's aftermarket division. By putting their parts on my car, I will see a better portion of what I paid back when I trade in, compared to aftermarket stuff.
4. to me that is more import then the aftermarket parts and allows me to get the best of both worlds. Performance and trade in, resale value.
That is my opinion on the matter.
(This is not to start another argument like in previous posts, this is just to answer his question)

i went w/ all aftermarket parts on mine. i did because of the performance. trd sway 60% stiffer hotchkis 260%-320% stiffer. trd exaust 2-3hp megan racing cat-back 10-15hp. i agree that it probaly wont have as high of resale value but im probaly gonna pull all that stuff off before i sell it anyways.
