I'm pretty sure my xB is faster than my old VW microbus. It does have twice the horsepower after all.

 

yeah! same with me! riced civics though.. a lot of them. Ever since I got my CF hood. I was driving behind a ricer and i guess he looked in the rear view mirror and saw me, so when we were at the red light, he kept revving his engine like he was the isht. it smelled really bad though, and he wouldn't stop revving his engine at every stop light so i got kinda ticked, so i turned on my headlights and drove behind him for a while. He tried to outrun me but he couldn't do it cause he was too busy avoiding potholes from his cut springs.. hahah.. then i had to make a turn to go home so there.

 

Out on the freeway it happens all the time. People pull up hang with me, then pass, then back next to me again like they are trying to egg me on ........................Oh yea, I forgot, I was on cruise control and they obviously were not. and just wasting gas speeding up and slowing down for no reason at all.

 

I've never been challenged but most a$$hole drivers seem to end up driving around me day to day. It's mostly tards in SUVs and small cars like Cavaliers and other sh*t boxes. I just rolling road block as many SUVs and pickup trucks as I can. :D

 

I get more people slowing down to check out the car. I have at least 4 people a dayasking me what it is and other odd questions.

 

The other day, I was heading to work, with the cruise set to 70. I overtook this Mustang that was several lanes over. I guess he didn't like that, so he came all the way over to the lane next to me, and floored it past me. He saw that I was maintaining speed, so he eased back next to me, then did it again. This happened several times before he went to pick on a Mini that also happened to be on the freeway.

What a jagoff

 

a xB let me pass around a corner yesterday, but then she started to race. couldn't tell if we were giving each other props or if she was really trying to race. maybe she didn't even realize we both had scions. lol.

i was cruising along the other day though and some car pulled up alongside of me at a red light, revving his engine. mind you, i was going 45 in a 45 (for once) and talking on my cellphone. he sped off ahead of me and then waited as we pulled up to the next red light and did it again. i wasn't even gonna try, but when i found out what kind of car it was, i just laughed. it was a chrysler with 300+ hp. like i ever stood a chance. lol.

 

Happens to me, too and I say whatever....I'd rather be slow and look good in my box than go fast and look like an idiot!!

 

are you kiddin this is like a disease here in miami, i have other boxes doing me the same thing......

 

I had alot more challenges when I had the "You just got beat by a wagon" decal on my hatch Mostly civics.

 

Ya -- my wife got revved on by some in a honda at a stop light while going to work. She just rolled the window down and laughed

 

*sigh*

Talk about losers.

I was just repeatedly challenged by a beater Ford Ranger pickup as I was 'cruising' at the speed limit on the way to the grocery store.

(Vroom, vroom, *rattle* *rattle* and a bunch of pass, cut-off, drop back, pass, cut off, etc.)

He finally got himself tucked in behind a bunch of slower traffic and I drove past him at the next traffic light and turned into the store parking lot.

What is with these people?
