Default Bad Alternator

Hopefully I have solved a couple of nagging problems. First, my battery was draining--to the point of having to be replaced. Second my VSC and Trac Off lights kept coming on. I finally had time to take the box into Scion of Glendora for a look see. They asked about after market stuff and I told them what I had. AEM intake, TYC tail lights and lowering springs. (the AEM intake and TYC tail lights were purchased from a Toyota dealer but not installed by Toyota). They asked about after market stereo equipment which I don't have.

Well they came back saying it was a dead alternator and that they were replacing. They said that would take care of the VSC and Trac Off lights. I asked why no alternator light ever came on and they checked it out but could not explain. Well--at least on the ride home the lights stayed off.

I was very pleased with the service at Scion of Glendora.
