Default Best area or state to buy a 2004-2006 XB

I am looking to buy an XB now and have seen several of you mention getting great deals on your cars. What I am looking for is a gen-1 XB with less than 70 k miles that is an automatic for less than $8k. If anyone knows of one for sale please let me know. The only color I really don't like is silver but if the deal is right I would take it. Just so you know, I am in Florida but am willing to fly out and drive home.
Thank you.

Dave

Based on population density (more people = more available cars) I would think either SoCal or the NE / Mid-Atlantic (MD, Del., NJ, NY, PA, etc.)

Check clubxb, they still have a pretty active classifieds and it's xB specific.

Thanks for the tip. IN my searches it seems manuals go for way less. Prices here in Florida seem to be pretty high though. I want to buy SOON!
Can anyone tell me the difference between the 2005s and the 2006s?
Thanks

Los Angeles will have the largest selection of xBs in the country.

I am also in Southern Florida near WPB, and I would say a florida car not from a beach front area would be good here...roads are generally better than up north, no salt from winter,...flat roads not going to run the tranny ragged.... Prices are up as gas prices go higher.... 30 MPG with all the interior room we have in our XB1's... great combination !! Search EBay for pricing comparisons........ my 2 cents...

Was also gonna say about the 2006 having an AUX jack for mp3 player input... I wish the 2005 had that single feature... I use one of those ebay wireless transmitters to get music from my player into the car radio...it works, but that jack would make it cleaner...
