Can yall help?
I got my Scion about 7000 miles ago and the thing is awesome. However I've been hearing sort of a "chirp chirp chirp" sound when I am making tight turns at moderate speeds. I think it might be a loose belt... any ideas?

def not vsc then vsc is more of a beep beep beep beep beep not tires that would be more of a squeal that'd be cool if u oculd strap urself to the engine bay and look while it happened....
it could very well be a belt maybe brakes? does it happen any other time? do u drive fast and brake hard?

I dont usually break that hard... but I average about 80 on the freeway... how doesnt right? It only happens when I am making a moderatly sharp turn. Its not a squeal... But its not coming from the inside the cabin
It sounds like to me that you may have a build up of brake dust on the stock wheel. Remove the hob cap and wash the wheel off. If you see some spots where the factory black paint has worn away, and is possibly starting to rust, then its probably your hub caps. Because when you turn, your flexing the wheel, and this rubs against the holding clips on the hub cap. If out of all the holding clamps there is one that is rubbing against bare metal, then this is the cause of the "chirping" sound.
