Default cheap AEM intake?

are there any websites that sell the AEM intake for a cheaper price than the dealer? or are there any stores in the southern orange county area that may sell them cheaper than dealer?

that's wut i wuz told by a tuner shop. AEM signed a contract with scion saying that they will not sell the intake on the market for a year. so, within this year, the AEM intake is a dealer only item.

ebay has the intake, but that's still buying from the dealer through ebay. i haven't checked for price difference.

if u read the stickies on the top of this thread.
many intakes were dyno tested.
and there are many other intake options that OUTPERFORM
the AEM intake for a lot less cash.

i think u should consider this, but IF you really wanna get AEM,
even after reading all results, try to classifieds, people might wanna
sell their aem intake, i've seen intakes for sale.

a cold air intake provides more consistant power gains. short rams may give better results when it's cool under the hood, but performs poorly when it's hot. this is to my knowlege. feel free to prove me wrong.
