Default Decorating your car for Christmas (PICS!!!)

Well i was Target last night and they were ALREADY selling christmas decorations. So i thought how cool would it be to decorate my xb with a christmas theme. I was wonderin if any one else is planning on doing this or has done this in years past. I've seen some realy creative things done on here and would love to see what people would do with a christmas theme for the holiday season. Post pics and i'm not limiting this to just xb's or the interrior either!

You know, I posted about getting my xb soon on another forum. and since i have the red rota gt3's... someone said that my car looks like a rolling christmas decoration or something. all i would have to do is put a wreath on the grill or something. lol, funny idea, but i doubt i would REALLY do it.

maybe interior christmas lights, thatd be funny.

Never thought about it, but now that you mention it. On the other hand it gets enough attention and I wouldn't want to start attracting the wrong attention to it. I might end up with a horror story such as the people on the "Are xB's being targeted" post.

I have to get through Halloween first. Thought it might be the November contest to dress your xB up for the big night.

i was thinking a short strand around the top and hold it on with short strips of vynil, i just have to find a way to keep the lights from scratching the roof as i drive. Maybee the grill too

I work at target and it is crazy how many lights we have and how soon they went on the shelves. About the second week of october.

I'm thinking of mounting a sleigh on top of the box - temporarily for the holidays.

does anyone know what would be legal in MD i want to put lights around the top, white or colors. The interior lights would only be on when stopped.

also id anyone knows a 12volt source near the rear hatch that would make my day ( trying to wire a second horn(AIR HORN) and need a 12 volt source

Thanks

i say, get some tiny reindeer clings, and cover the car with it, then tie a huge ribbon around it. its like a big present!

I use to hang multi colored lights in the inside of my vw bus each season.
I got pulled over once in 10 years of doing it. The cop said he thought I was an ambulance going hot to a call I was going about 35 in a 40.
I didn't get a ticket, but I was told the law is no red or blue lights on a non emergency vehicle.
I left them the same and turned them off in his town.

I made my own light sets from the 12volt replacement bulbs in the Christmas section at wally world, and any parallel light set. The 10 light sets are usually parallel. like the ones with plastic snowmen or what ever. Switch out the bulbs and take off the plug and replace it with a male cig plug.

Wow -- your gonna have to post some pic's after your all done dressing it up.
Be carefull of the rubber necker's out there, they can barely drive right when
they see a stock box, let alone a rolling christmas tree. Have fun - I'll be waiting
