For my wreath (see picture several posts back) I took a wire coat hangar, bent it into a circle (you can bend the wire around another circular item like a roll of duct tape to get that perfect circle.). I then wrapped the wire with several layers of plastic and taped them down. Then, using fresh fir ( I live in Washington State so this stuff grows in my yard) or artificial you tie down the wreath material with string ( fishing line will work) as you go around the hoop. Since you'll be going down the highway at speed, tie it down well. Keep adding wreath material until it looks the way you want it to. Bows are available at many locations. You then zip tie it to the grill and spread Xmas cheer with your Xmas xB!

To prevent scratches, you can use that stuff that they use in grade school art classes... I forget what it's called but it's like an 8" wire that is covered in felt... I think they call it piping or something like that... that'll prevent the scratches since it's felt covered and it'll secure the wreath in place since it's a wire - like a very flexible coat hanger type of feel.

My wreath frame is padded with plastic wrap. The only thing contacting the paint is the pine fir material which is soft and padded. The zip ties hold the wreath in place so there is no scrubbing action on the paint. I've had it on for over a week with absolutely no problem..

I would love to see someone wrap their xB as a giant Christmas present complete with a bow and a to/from tag.

It's a totally awesome concept! You would want to make the bow out of something rigid so it would keep its shape going down the highway. I think a Polar White xB would be the best color to use..

Hi fellow Yellow -

I'm finally getting back around to your talk about your cool interior. Questions - Is the table you installed permanently attached to the shelf in the dash? If not, what keeps it in place?

Thanks for any info.

Hey Yellow Sub - The table you had built intrigues me. Questions: Did you permantly intall an attachment device to the dashboard or does the tabl just rest on the shelf in the dash. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, finished with my "Xmas Box". Here are some pics, but it looks better in person. I have battery operated lights on my mini tree.

Not sure if you can see, but I have those Xmas window clings on the winshield:

**I hope the bow stays on when I drive...LOL!!!

I'm not sure if all states have a 99 cent store but the one near my home sells a set of 15 lights white or colored that are battery powered. Only 99cents! I bought a few just to play with.
