I went to the ACE Hardware website and ordered a strand of 25 lights with a 12' lead that plugs into the cigarette lighter. they pay the freight if you pick it up at the store. Cost $7.00
These will go in the rear window held in place by clear suction cups (about $2.00) Since the RS2 has no emblem on the front grille, I will make a Santa and zip-tie it in the center. For Halloween, I had a Jack-O-Lantern in this space.
People smiled when they saw it!

damn dude, nice interior paint. Howd you do the rear inside of the hatch??

 

actually it's not paint. the dash is the veneerz dash kit and the rear hatch i removed and covered in yellow silk. sprayed lightly with arasol(sp?) glue and placed the silk over it.

 

I went to WalMart and bought a sh*tload of Xmas decor in blue and silver (my box color is TCM with Blue accents inside and out). I will be decorating soon, I have a mini tree (big enough for the dash in front of passenger side) with battery operated lights. I have ornaments, garland, rope, beads, bows, a start to tie to the front grill and a big blue bow for the top. I may get some tinsel and hang it on the wiper since I don't use it anyway. I'm so excited!!! And I can't wait to see more pics!

i can't wait to see that. mishould be doing more to my car right after thanksgiving after i get all the decoration out for my house. i'll put stockings, some more lights and i think another tree. a few more things too. i thought this would catch on a bit more but it looks like not too many people are gonna decorate.

 

Definately give you props for being creative. Doubt many ppl will be doing this sort of thing tho

im saying your car looks ugly as heck inside, what in god's name possessed to fill it with christmas crap? not only do i feel my retinas burn but i wish the police would pull you over and cut your license for doing such things to your car. your car is not a house, you do not decorate it, you drive it
