Default different years different tail lights?

I have noticed that some XB's have solid red tail lights and mine (2005) has clear. Did they do a running change?

There was no model change. There is/are DIY all over the forums. One has you paint the outside of the housing using candy red paint, one has you painting the inside. Another has you using an overlay on the outside. Do a search or check the DIY section and I'm sure you'll see what is up. Otherwise the only other taillights available from the dealer were TYC and the garnish. Good luck

yuuuup. xB's/bB's all come with clear/ghosted tail lights as the standard setup. the red ones are when people do DIY redouts.
