Just curious. Do you guys wave to other xB owners on the road when you see one?

I do a noticeable head nod...

If the other driver waves, I'll wave back....but not a 'nutty ___ wave' but more of a 'yeah, wassup' wave. More of a raised hand than a waving motion.

I wave to Honda Element drivers, though...but more of a 'middle finger you're number one' kinda thing.

Well, I wasn't talking about any ___ wave or stuff like that. Just a friendly wassup wave.

I do the whats up wave or the head nod thing when I see other scion drivers sometime the other drivers don't notice when I wave. Not sure how you can miss the bright yellow box but makes me think that some people don't pay attention to whats around them...

Most of the ones I see are ahead of me and I can't catch up!! :-)

I have noticed that the younger drivers will wave. The old farts (like me) won't even look!

I always acknowledge the other driver somehow - it may be a wave, nod, flash lights, or even pull over next to them and roll down the window.

I followed a guy on a Harley for a couple of miles in traffic and watched as he and other HD riders gave each other a sort of low wave that looked kind of cool. Maybe we could come up with the official xB wave that wouldn't look too ___.

I generally give a short salute out the sunroof. Or if I'm in a good mood I'll just
stand on the seat while steering with my prehensile tail and do a jig with my head
sticking out above the box.

Or if the girlfriend is with me, and she can squeeze her ample chest through the
roof, she likes to take photos of cool Scion for me!

Im sorry, but a bunch of people who own the same cars, and drive together because it is the ony this they have in common is lame. you know how many people own mustangs or toyota camerys, they don't have a little club - they're normal.

it's a way to make friends... typically how it works... find something you have in common then build off of that...

some pretty good friendships have been formed just because of these cars... and they are typically people you probably wouldn't have met otherwise...

back on topic: i'll take a peek at the driver, if they look, i'll throw a peace sign or nod... from what i see, the more mods, the more likely they are to acknowledge...

Raven,

If thats your girlfriend in the picture I'd definately wave.
Is that your xB with the double sun roof? It looks good.
Nice pics of Chicago too.
