I love my Gen1, but it is very much the daily grocery getter these days. I am in need of tires as the original Badyears are almost shot. I found some Douglas cheapies at Wal-Mart in the original size for $256 installed. They look good, and made in the US.

Again, this is a daily driver, not raced or driven aggressively.

Anyone have reason to believe I wouldn't get $256 worth out of the deal?

i have a set of douglas tires on my danger ranger. got it for $220 for the set. have no regrets.

Douglass is manufactured by Kelly-Springfield who is owned by Goodyear....so in essence your getting a low end Goodyear

 

Its no doubt that the douglas tires are so costly and good.
