I wouldn't call it a rip-off, did the oil cap seal up the filler hole?

did it keep the oil in and the dirt out?

if your really unhappy, did you try to work with the seller ? some can be very understanding and will work with you ( refund or discount)

I would just try taking off the lable and re-apply it to the desired angle before calling it a rip-off.

a rip-off would be the item did not function as promised, was broken upon delivery, did not fit at all , or didn't get shipped at all.

 

My Injen oil cap came with the emblem un-attached, so you could stick it on after you install it. But I got giddy and put it on right when I got it. Luckily it isn't off too bad.

 

I was thinking this was a mod on my xb, that would in some way rip-off ebay. As a humble Ebayer, I have been ripped-off by ebay as acommunity many a time.
