Default Free Sirius, anybody?

I just got my new xA here in San Diego and it came with 9 months free of Sirius radio. Anybody else get this? It basically is just long enough to be spoiled by it so you want to purchase a subscription once the offer expires, and I am really starting to like it even though I did not consider it while purchasing. Kearny Mesa Toyota was the best, easy sale and only a $35 documentation fee, free floormats, and of course the Sirius sub. for 9 months. Can't beat that or can you? Only took 2 weeks to get the car as well.

Its awesome that KMS does this now!

I got mine from Longo and its the best thing since sliced lettuce...

I am the same I would of never put up the cash for Sat radio but now that I have I wonder how I went so long without it... It makes me hate freeway overpasses tho.

My Significant other has Sirius ..and I love it. Love riding in his car and listening to the same station for as long as you possibly can. The subscription costs really aren't that bad either.

I almost wished my dealer would have offered free/time trial goodies like that.. I didn't get squat with my car unforutnately. I still love her though regardless

Why does sat radio make you hate freeway overpasses?

When you pass under a overpass, or a lower hanging set of power lines, you usually get a momentary pause in the signal, because the antenna on the vehicle cannot "see" the satellite.

The only thing I got from the dealer as an incentive was a 6-disc changer. That versus satellite radio. Disc changer, hands down, for me. My CD collection will beat any type of radio any day.

I know what you mean about the overpasses, bugs the heck out of me as well. Love the radio though, sooo nice not having commercials!

I cant believe dealerships are throwing in free stuff like upgraded stereos! That is totally against the Scion Covenant...

...I know If we did that we would get shut down. Maybe our regional reps are stricter than on the west side.

ya, they didn't offer me dittly squat. Well, I got $500 for being a recent college grad, so maybe that was their incentive?

Is there a way to get Sirius with the old head unit? (I see it has a SAT button and everything!) I'm using the FM transmitter on a portable Sirius receiver but that totally sucks, would love some RCA inputs or something on the head unit. Any ideas?
