Has anyone done this, taking the seats out while leaving the brackets that they slide on attached to the floor/frame? thanks, Mark S.

I am converting my xb to a mini one person camper. I have removed the passenger seat, rails and all (only five metric hex head screws with easy access). My problem is, with the sensor plug disconnected, the car computer thinks there is a wiring problem, and displays its discontent continuously.

What do i need to plug into the connector to make the car think the seat is still there, and wiring is OK?

maybe you can find a pop-up that will go on it. awsome. just like the old VWs
