yep, considering the bumper for a new tunder is barely under our roof line, and thats stock, the trd loaded to the gills lifted tundra will quite litterally rip the top end of a car or xb off

Sux about the accident, hope all works out.

I was rear-ended when I had my '04 it was not as bad as yours, but my back still hurts on occasion, so make sure you get everything checked out and fixed up.

Well the insurance company only gave me a rental for a week. The 30 days is only valid if the car is being repaired. With that said, I went ahead and just bought a new 2009 xB auto with about 8 grand of crap to bolt on

Feeling fine, enjoying the chiro visits. Should be back to 100% soon.

FYI, Power Toyota/Scion has some dork named Greg Wiser (Inventory Manager or supposedly "the man" when it comes to Scions there) who'd rather go work out at the gym than sell me a new car. He almost seemed annoyed that I came in asking whether or not they can sell me another car, since my totaled xB loan isn't going to close out for a month or two. The sales person who helped me got all the paperwork ready and then got chided for helping me at all. "We can't do anything until I call Toyota Financial. I'll call them tomorrow and call you." Good thing I took my business elsewhere, because he never called me back.

So props to Bell Road Scion for making this new vehicle purchase the easiest I've ever made (includes 4 cars and 1 motorcycle). I called their Finance Manager and told her my situation. She said come on down, what color do you want, we'll have it out front waiting for you. And sure enough, they did! Well done.

So long old xB, I really did like ya, but I'll carry on with your newer sibling. RIP

oh man, you even changed your icon already. yeesh! the xB2 bug is more potent than a zombie bite...and apparently works faster...

congratulations on being back in a scion, at any rate now that you've got side airbags, you are free to get t-boned at your leisure as well!

yeah, not exactly thrilled about it - toyota has finally gone the redneck route. and yet for some reason I'm more worried about the ram-driving folks. Something about a demographic who buys a vehicle that's name means "to strike with great force" just sends up some flags for me...

you know, the ford super duties, and ford trucks in general, look like they could do even more damage then a tundra, I had forgotten how big those things were, well that is if you can get it to run long enough to actually get up to speed and hit someone with a ford
