Default Head unit help!!

So yesterday I purchased a pioneer FH-X720BT from Best Buy and I asked for the double din, etc, etc. He comes out with the part that's supposed to be holding my head unit into place..well let's just say it's falling farther and farther into oblivion. I believe it was a metra part meant for toyotas and scions 2000-up. You would think Scion has been disconnected all along with the way getting parts are. I figured someone in here has had this problem (or we all have). I would just like to find a way for it to fit snugly because it doesn't look so good right now. Thanks again!! Please help!!!

Klutetron you need to have the original brackets that came with the original head unit. You can buy them from the dealer but they charge way too much for them. I have the part #'s if you need them.

I have those still but do I have to use the metra ones also or will the original ones hold it in? Sorry I'm new to this

From what I know the originals will work just fine.
