Headlights blowing fuse... why?

Default Headlights blowing fuse... why?

i got myself a pair of sonar dual halos off ebay, but when i installed them i blew a fuse. i went a got a few new ones, but just the other day it blew again? why is it blowing? is there a bad connection in the cable, like they are slipping or are thy getting wet or something? aight thanks let me know!

Is the fuse blowing while the headlights are on? (It seems like a stupid question, but the only stupid question is the one not asked).
How long does it take to blow? You probably just have a bad bulb.

Did your headlamps come already stocked with it's bulbs. Usually the wattage may be different that the factory fuse can't handle. Or the other way if you bought higher wattage bulbs from your store. Otherwise, your wirings may touch often causing it to short out and blow the fuse.

it came with bulbs... my guess is that the wires are touching i guess ill go and re-tape em for safety. but as far as i know they blow when i turn them on... happens during the day i guess cause i dont notice until night.... aight thanks figured it was something easy

A fuse blowing indicated that there is a short. Which typically has to do with the power wire shorting to ground. exposed wiring it usaully the culprit.
