Default HELP...need a replacement rear window!

Hello All,

Somehow my rear window got smashed to-night. Since this is an XB it was never sold in Canada so I was wondering are their any other Vancouverites on this site that can give me some information as to where can a find a supplier of my rear window. I am going to try Speedy Auto Glass but I'm not holding out much hope that they can get one. Or can they??

Thanks Scion Community...Timothy

Any Toyota dealer should be able to order whatever you need.

It has been replaced. The dealer here would have had to order it from the USA. It would have taken 4-5 working days and cost $570 Can and then $75 shipping plus 13 % taxes then 2 hours of Speedy Auto glass to install. Total $878.

I went across to Bellingham (5 hrs total time) and it cost $640 U.S. installed and I didn't have to wait. ($760 total Canadian assuming $.8 exchange rate). Thanks

Ouch. That's pretty pricey. Didn't your insurance have glass breakage coverage?

Ouch is right. That glass costs about 100 - 200 used and then even with shipping it should have been well under 400 bucks.
