Default Help prevent clutch issues

I have noticed a lot of people complaining about premature clutch wear on their xA's. While there are a lot of reasons this could happen, one of the things that I noticed is that the clutch's release is almost totally at the top of the clutch's pedal travel. This could cause slippage as the clutch wears, or if the return stop is adjusted improperly at the factory.

To make sure that this is not an issue I have made an adjustment on my pedal. At the top, their is a return stop bolt and nut set-up. (14MM) All I did was turn the bolt out about 1/8" retighten the nuts and re-bend the return spring slightly to make sure that it stays snug to reduce pedal bounce. This has made a big difference and will assure that as the clutch wears, this will not become an issue. No matter what type of clutch you have, the pedal height will change slightly as the clutch wears.

I just checked mine and noticed that the stop on my clutch pedal arm doesn't even touch the bolt stop! In fact, there's an 1/8" GAP between my pedal arm and the bolt stop. What's up with that?
