How much MPG do you get in your XB?

With 19,000+ miles on my auto xB with +1 rims/205-45 and short ram intake and mobil-1 synthetic oil, I get consistent 30.8 - 31.5 mpg,(even with the short ram intake installed, I still drive it the same and don't get improved mileage).
2006 manual box rolling on stock wheels with K&M thunder CAI, always ran on Shell 94 Premium. I drive fairly conservative and never shift higher than 3500 RPM. I can usually get 295-310 miles before the light comes on, at which point it takes 9.4-9.8 gallons to fill to full. Speed and wheels heavily affects fuel economy on the box, as such:
With 15"s
Average city + highway (60/40) with AC: 31.5
Country road @ 60 with AC on: 34.6 MPG
County road @60 with AC off: 36 MPG
Highway @72-75 with AC on: 32 MPG
Highway @80 with AC on: 29 MPG
With 18"s
Average city + highway (60/40) with AC: 28
Highway @72-75 with AC: 29
Highway @80 with AC on: 27 MPG
Notes: Big wheels do affect MPG because they hamper vehicle performance due to weight, thus leading to more abuse on the engine to keep up.

Expect less than 28-29 with 19"s. I would stay away from 19"s unless you buy very high quality wheels. I had 18"s a while back which were a truely horrible and abusive ride. The car would pull each time you came to a stop, braking performance was heavily reduced, it would pull off the road on uneven surface, acceleration was noticabely weaker; all in all not a good idea! Big rims should only be put on for show, definately not for daily driving.
I drive 35 miles to work everyday in stop and go traffice (downtown Atlanta) and have been averaging 31 mpg (I have an automatic). How do you drive to only get 22mpg (do you race it off the line every time)?
With my 2004 xB (automatic, stock steel wheels and tires) I have gotten an overall average of 33.8 mpg. That's two and a half years of year round driving in the hills of northeast Ohio. Cold weather brings worse mileage, warm weather makes for better.

I've had my xB for just under one year now. In 26,800 miles, my average is 30.67 mpg. I kept every receipt, so this is accurate, not an estimate. It seems to do better at a speed of around 40-60 mph, and drop off when doing 70 on the interstate for long stretches. The highest on a tank was just under 34 mpg, and the lowest was 27.7.
Figure I'd give an update since I haven't been to the forum in awhile. Since my post earlier I've gotten a scan gauge giving me my instantaneous, trip, and tank mileage displayed just above my sterring wheel. It's taught me how to drive to get good mileage. I've confirmed the computer reading with my tank fillups each time I get gas. Call me a nerd, but I've written down the mileage for every tank since I've had the car brand new. I've definetly improved as I now average in the winter time in below freezing temps in Alaska- 35mpg, and that is 100% city driving. This coming summer I am looking forward to seeing what I can get when the temperature is warmer. I know my highest trip average driving home from work last fall was 42mpg on a 8 mile trip. My lofty goal is the get a tank average of 40mpg this summer. Yes I'm slow, and no I don't hold up traffic. Just good trip planning and looking ahead to time lights. Funny how I always catch up to everyone that passes me without trying.
