Back your xB into a freakin' pile of crush and run and scratch the beejeeezuz out of the rear bumper, that's how !!!!

I feel your pain! Last year, I went out to eat and I parked in the restaurant's parking lot. I ended up parking on a pile of small rocks, in the corner of the lot, that scratched the crap out of my front bumper...

 

I backed into a pile of gravel before and messed up the rear lips. Luckily I found someone that had a pair of mint ones for sale and they matched 100%. TCM should be easy to find replacement parts for cause they sold the most. Good luck!

It was neither....we were out looking at new homes and there was this one out in horse country with a crush and run driveway. I pulled in and we got out and looked at the house....all was fine. When we left, I backed up to turn around and didn't see the pile, about 24" high, and backed right into it. Most all the worse scratches are along the bottom lip so I intend to just leave it alone. It's one of those things that I'll probably be the one to notice...most other folks won't.

 

Yeah, sucks for sure.

 

That's why I said I'd never buy a new car again.

It's just toooooo much heartbreak when that first damage happens . . . and I CAN'T HANDLE THAT KIND OF PAIN . . .

. . . until the next car that I HAVE to have comes along . . . .

 

^^^ I agree with my man Pooder. The 1st bit of damage SUCKS - especially when you buy your cars in cash.

My xB was hit on the side at around 1600 miles. I came out of the car and cursed out the ghetto thug reject that hit my car and then he gets mad at me for cursing at him! he tried to pass me by going over a sidewalk! it was a single lane road!!! wtf!@#

anyway, before the box, i was going to buy a fully loaded 3-series beemer. why didnt i? the price. i park on the street mainly so if my 40k+ beemer had scratches/dents in it, i'd cry for days. lolol

so i got my box and every since the 1st accident, i dont think of it as anything anymore. someone scuffed the front bumper by the grill - but, eh, no big deal. it happens.

just thank god it's not happening to your new mercedes or beemer!~

im still going to buy new cars after my box, because nothing feels better than having a new car - but i will make sure that the cars i buy are not over $20k. anything over that, to me, will hurt when it gets damaged...

If they were scratched worse than they are I would do it. I'll just live with it......at least for now !

You might get lucky and find someone that has TCM ones. Start a topic in the classified section and give it a shot. I paid 100 for both of mine shipped.
