I need help choosing interior/exterior lighting .....
I love the look of lights inside the xB (neon, LED, ect.), and am looking for advice as to how I should approach selection and installation of these lights. I'm very UN-knowledgable when it comes to modding a car, so please keep that in mind.
1. Is the factory interior neon/LED lighting totally overpriced? $300 seems like a lot to install a few lights underneath the dash. What alternatives are there to this dilemna?
2. Where else in the car can neons/LED's be installed? Back seats, trunk, roof, etc.
3. Where should I look to buy underbody lights? I've seen one box on here that has 4 or 5 circular white lights coming from under each side of the car. It looks so different than neon covering the ground. Where can I get these?
Basically, any and all of the advice you wonderful Scion owners could give would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking at an early July delivery of my xB and want to be ready to 'pimp him out!' I'd love to see pictures of the most impressive looking lights in an xB!!!
Thanks in advance,
Dave

You can go ANYWHERE. especially with LEDs. just ask Max2K
I believe his box has been mistaken for a landing strip. its very cool though. you can ask him for details but hes really good at that stuff and where to put it.

Max2K did a set of those too. They didnt last well though with the elements I believe. You can get some nice LED kits off ebay for 100 bucks or so
to the last part:
Yet Again go to Max2K. He's the master of interior LEDs . Hes the man.
Hope this helps. Feel free to ask anymore and I'll be sure to send ya in the right direction

i just bought 4 10" neon tubes off of ebay for like 20 dollars. Then installed 2 of them under the dash and two under the front seats.
In regards to the underbody neons i got mine for 100 at a local car show. I got the neons which i prefer over the led kits that show those little circle like lights on the ground. They are blue and if you want pics i will be happy to share them with you. If you have any questions about installing them just let me know.
