Which Injen to buy ....
I didnt know this, but apparently you can purchase the Injen intake in either Polished or Black PowderCoat. I would like anyone/ everyones opinion on which i should get for the RS1. My theory is black, because most of the engine bay is either orange or black, and i like the look of stealth. Thanks guys and gals

i have the polished and honestly though id rather have black now it doesnt really matter. to look it at you kinda have to lean in. and i think the black might be less apt to get smudgy with fingerprints. so i voted black though ive yet to see a picture of one.
showpoa is right. the engine cover is honestly quite impressive ( much better in person than in pics) and as long as you can nail it for like 60 bucks its worth it.
whenever you do get the intake: Make certain you TAKE THE BATTERY OUT for the installation. this glaring error in the otherwise perfect installation guide cost me about 20 minutes because i thought i was in error.
okay my two cents is up.

Thanks for the pointer on the battery. I dont think ill be getting the engine cover, as this is going to be a work vehicle. Maybe down the line, with some lower springs and a turbo, but for now its just wheels, intake, cargo mat, and tails.
Anyone have a pic of the Black Powder Coat, or have seen one? I was wondering if it has a flat or polished finish.

Go with the black intake and it'll look like you don't even have an intake. That's what I have and I love the stealth look.
The polished version won't show up much anyway.
I get pics for you when I can CB.

I would have posted pics here but it seems that Imagestation hasn't been agreeing with Scionlife lately.
