Yes, Plowed through millions of butterflys the other day. I think the massive rains here spawned an extra large dose. At least when they hit the windshield the spot they left was solar yellow.............

Solution Found! 10 days and 1000 miles with NO BUG HITS on the windshield. Bug Deflector works! Thanks for the link to
http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/pe...rformance.html
Saved money, I was about to buy one for $85.

every road tripper should carry a can of

and when the bug storm hits, just PAM your front end (not the WS)

It's just veggie oil and bugs won't stick! EZ to wash them off later on at journey's end.

For WS, it will help to apply a fresh coat of RainX or silicone polish when you know bugs are coming your way.

Glad we don't have much rock trouble here in my locale. Rock deflector sounds like a winner.

joking:
If Pam prevents bugs sticking, does axle grease prevent rock strikes?

-do wash off the Pam inside of a day or two or it'll just start to get gummy. But it won't harm your paint. Bug juice w/o pam -is bad for the paint-. So get 'em off asap.

Scifly, I clean my windshield often with 'Glass Plus' and paper towel, will this remove the coating of RAINX? Should I do one or the other? RAINX or paper towel and windex. I find that regular auto wax works well on the body, bugs fall off when touched... is PAM better than a good coat of wax?
