Default Installing New Tail lights

Im new here so Im not 100% sure if this is the correct sub forum for this question.

My Scion xB SR 2.0 is my 1st car, I have been upgrading it rather quickly from the time I bought it ( 4 days ago ). Tonight I went to the dealership and bought a set of the Euro taillights. I thought the installation process would be fairly simple so I opted to install myself. I was wondering if someone could give me a quick run down as how to install the tail lights. Starting with how to remove the stock ones. I have noticed smal clips but im not sure if there are screws to remove ect..

Thank you in advance for the help, and if this is in the wron forum sorry, i didnt know where to put it.

Try searching. I found this post from randode.

to remove the tail lights:

Open the back door and remove the plastic "door" to access the back of the light. There is one for each side.

Unplug the wiring harness from the back of the light.

Remove the two nuts on the back of each light with a deep 10mm socket.

Tip the top of the light away from the car, then pull up and out. It is tight, but will "pop" away from the car. You may want to put some masking tape on the paint around the light so you dont scratch up the car. They go back in easier than they come out.

It is really easy. Takes about 15 minutes.

its a peice of cake, you take off those little removeable panels in the trunk space next to the speakers, then you need to disconnect the plug that goes into the tail light, and then theres 2 nuts holding the tail light onto the car, just undo those with a socket wrench, they are a little tricky to get in there but its pretty easy, the tail light will pop out then just put the new ones in. i have the TYC lights too, and please refrain from calling them "euros" ::shudder::
