Default Just got my floormats replaced free

For those with floormats that are wearing badly, there are new ones, which the dealer will replace for free. I assume you had to get them through the dealer, but I can't say for sure. I did. They said they'd replace them once in the 3 years/36,000 mile warranty period. I had mine for exactly a year and there was some severe wearing where my heel is. They did say I had to give them the old ones. The new ones are a completely different material and look very nice. They are not supposed to wear as bad.

how does the new style differ from the old? i bought some mats a few month ago but i'm not sure if they're the new or old style. I like them, they're pretty nice.

I thought about taking pics, but it'd be tough to capture the difference in material, real tough. The new ones look more like a quality carpet seen in a house. The old ones look more like berber.

Now that I think about it, my floormats were replaced, but not the rear cargo deal. I'll get some contrasting pics up tomorrow.

I wish that was true with all dealers. My dealer, did not replace them for free. So, even though I only have like ten months on them, and 17,000 miles or so, no free replacement. Just wear and tear, which they said is not worthy of replacement.

find a dealer even if it's further away that will do it. then tell them that this other dealer will do it, and then get the sales guys name and mention that you'll contact headquarters to confirm.

Call the 1 800 # for Scion and have them work with the dealer for you.

I had the same problem, Called scion they contacted dealer then scion called me back saying that the dealership will be contacting me as soon as the new floor mats come in...
