Default Lack of consideration...

*mutter* *mutter* *mutter*

Here at the apartment complex some painters just spray painted a new section of fencing a nice sage green - thing is, Hacana's nice new PW xB is parked right next to it.

I've dropped him an e-mail and a PM to let him know to check the passenger side of his xB for overspray (I haven't done so myself - that's his baby - I wouldn't want anyone rubbing their hands all over Vanilla - my PW xB).

Hopefully there isn't a problem, but with only about three or four feet between his xB and the fence, there certainly could be.

Good luck Barry!

Yeah, it's a fairly easy fix, but if no one lets him know that it might have happened, it could be days/weeks/even months before it's noticed, then there's no idea of where it may have come from.

This way he can check it fairly soon, and if there is a problem can have someone else pay for fixing it...

('Sides, I dislike seeing a poor defenseless box get hurt. Someone has to look after them, eh? :D )

Whew! Luckily, they were actually careful when they painted.

Thanks Tomas for the heads up. The only thing on there is dirt, which hopefully, weather permitting, will be cleaned up.

Just last week I was at a customer who was not in such a good mood. In fact, he told me this would not be a good time to talk. Seems he was stressing about getting over spray off his 100 year anivesary Harley. Contractors were painting one of their buildings and did not bother to warn anyone. Plus, the company provides parking for employees away from that area (so this guy had no recourse). Thankfully I got the heck out of there before the CAMOBox was flaked with white. Though I don't think he was concerned with my car, it all worked out
