Here is a something that annoys me. The original xAs don't have mirrors on the passenger side visors. I bought a hanging mirror thing from Wal-Mart and have used it for about half a year. I think that it sucks and I need a quick fix.

I heard that the RS1 and 2 xAs have visors with mirrors on them. If they do, I was just wondering if anyone could get me the part numbers for them. I've contacted the local Toyota/Scion and they couldn't help me out.

If not, anyone cut into the visor and put a mirror up there themselves? Or has anyone installed TV/DVD monitors up there?

Would the xB visor be the same part?

Not that it would matter, the mirror in the xB is pretty
worthless. My girlfriend complained about it right off.
I'm going to surprise her by cutting a large mirror with light
into the passenger visor soon. Just debating on what type of
material to wrap the visor in!

 

All the 2005 xA's have mirrors in the visors, not only the RS's.

it should be the standard visor now.

I don't know if the xB has the same mirror.

Are all the 2005s? I have a 2004 and I heard the RS1&2 have them. Oh well... does anyone have a part number or know where I can get a cheap replacement?

Another idea is calling the junkyards and seeing if anyone has totalled any 2005 xA and get the mirrored visors off them if you know how to install.

 

There are only two screws. Cheers.
