Mods, leave the thread open. It would be nice for the kids to be warned about someone looking for scam money from them.

If someone out there likes having fun and showing/racing his car, and doesn't want to build a portfolio and write proposals for himself, maybe he thinks its worth spending some money to have someone else do it. It's a service for people who are interested in aquiring sponsorships, one that might reduce some stress for someone.
Theres not reson to condemn a guy for offering a service, and trying to make a living. He is a buisiness owner, why would he ruin his reputation by ripping people off. It wouldn't be smart.
Just curious - are you actually an advertiser on this site or did you just take it upon yourself to start promoting your business on this site?
Unless you have managed to secure a 'sponsorship' from this website, you may want to stop using it pormote your SCAM product.

So now that you cant defend your scam idea anymore, you jump into me being a sponsor of the site. No..Actually I am NOT a sponsor of the site. And yes, I did choose to just promote my business without being a sponsor. So if you have a problem with it, become a moderator and close the thread... O wait I forgot, you wanted the thread to remain open after I asked for it to be closed. So now figure out what you really want and take care of it or stop trying to start trouble. When I become a sponsor (which I am going to be doing very shortly) then maybe you will be happy. And actually me being a sponsor of the site would be me sponsoring the site, not the site sponsoring me. So I cant secure said "sponsorship" from the site. And again, elaborate on why what I am doing is a scam. Making it a scam would be some sort of false advertising which I have stated a million times I havent done. At no time was there a guarentee issued. So elaborate...I am sure everyone wants to hear it.
Basically, the people who have any clue how sponsorships work would have no need for you.
The people who have taken the time to build sponsorship-worthy vehicles (good sponsorship-worthy, anyway) would have no need for you or your 'services'.
This basically leaves the clueless and not sponsorship-worthy as your target market.
You're basically preying on kids who don't know any better. While not guaranteeing sponsorship you certainly imply that there is a much greater chance of obtaining one with you than without you.
I'm also curious how you claim to be an expert at this. According to your sig, one of your sponsors has an application right on their page, another has no website yet. So basically, for $80 someone may hope to get a Battery and some Mother's wax with all your expertise? Wow. That sounds worht it.
If this saves one kid from wasting his $80 on you, I'm happy.

Hey man, whatever makes you happy. I am not preying on anyone. If I dont get anyone to do this, I will be fine with that. I dont care. People that do not know how to do a proposal are better off getting one from me or someone else who has done it before. Its about experience. Its the same with anything. You are right, one of my sponsors does have an application right on their page. Fill it out and see how far you get without a proposal genius. You are one of the people that know nothing about getting a sponsorship. As far as the sponsor without the website. Try www.manhonda.com That is what their site is under while Manchestermotorsports is being REBUILT. You truly are something else. You wait for my every response to try to find something to tear into about. And as far as what I got from these companies, ABS dynamics has given me an ABS 4pc lip kit, carbon fenders, and their carbon lip kit for nothing. Optima has given me TWO red top batteries for nothing, Manchester Motorsports has given me my dc header and dc strut bar for nothing and Mothers gives me a case of everything in their catalog for nothing. So yea, for 80 bucks, I think thats worth it. In the meantime, why dont you hop in your little car and drive down to the meet on February 20th and we can have our little debate about all of this instead of doing it on the internet.
Great... another internet thug.
You better not make real-life problems about online arguments, little boy.
One day you'll learn that the hard way if you continue down this road.
You're about as worthless as your service, and a jerk to boot.

whoa whoa whoa...Easy killer.... I said come down and we could have a debate... I didnt say come down and go home on a stretcher.... And until you learn who you are talking to, you may want to refrain from the "little boy" remark.
Just curious how much stuff you need on your ride to have a chance. I have a camo box with custom old school pinstriping, black 18's with a chrome lip, dual projector headlights, black ABS grill with halo fog lights, and, as soon as they get here, Goldline drop springs and One Ton Garage rear spacer shims.
Do you think I would have any chance of getting sponsored?
Also, does location have anything to do with it?

You have repeatedly in this thread attempted to make real-life threats.
That's fine.
I really expect no better from someone trying to scam kids.
I'll make the little boy comments as much as I like, little boy.

There you go with your scam again without elaborating on why its a scam. And if you want to take having a debate as a threat, again, so be it. Takes a big man to run his mouth on the internet

Judging by what you have already, you are probably a good candidate for a sponsorship depending on the events you plan on attending and any possible magazine coverage or even internet coverage you could get from those events. If you plan on attending a good number of events, you shouldnt have a problem getting sponsorships wether they are partial or full. You basically want your proposal to be laid out like this:
1. info about yourself
2. info about the vehicle you are working on
3. current modifications
4. future modifications
5. Shows/coverage that you will be going to with dates
6. *MOST IMPORTANT* What you can do for the company
7. Current Sponsors
8.Photos
9. A nice thank you for your time
I think my biggest problem would be location. Oklahoma sucks, there are a lot of weekend get-togethers but not really a lot of big shows. That and the fact that I work most Saturdays would most likely bite me in the ___.
Yea...Thats what hurts alot of people is not being able to show. Thats what the companies want to see. You have to show them that you can get their name out there and represent their product well at different levels. Even if you only went to a show a month and you could document that and send them pictures of your vehicle with their logo on it from the shows, thats what they want to hear and see. That falls into the "what you can do for the company" section....
Thanks for the info.
I might be hooking up with you on the proposal. I'd love to get a tire sponsor or ABS even. They make some cool stuff. Or Airbags.........yeah, thats what i need.
