noise on front passenger side
ok so i have been hearing this noise on the front pass side for a lil while and cant seem to figure it out. it sounds like it is coming from like the pass foot well or right in front of that. it doesnt occur all the time but i usually hear it when the car is near or at 3k rpm, and it doesnt make this noise when the car is in neutral or park and i rev it up a little
i had the a/c condenser replaced a lil while back but i dont think thats the problem
any help would be greatly appreciated

A little more detail about the noise would be helpful. Describe the noise.
Small guess, brakes? I say that because I used lower cost (cheap) pads last brake job, and tonight I heard a whistling type noise I failed to identify. Then it became the familiar noise of brake pads wearing out and getting noisy, except it gets quiet when brakes are applied. It's coming from my front-right tire. Either case, I am checking it Sunday and see what it looks like.
Whatever it is, if it's only making noise while in motion, that certainly narrows it down.

its kind of hard for me to describe...
its kinda like a rattling noise, like something might be hitting something that is moving or rotating but i cant seem to find anything that looks out of place when i pop the hood
im pretty sure its not the brakes because they havnt been changed since ive had the car and its been a yr and a half

check your brake dust shield, or your inner fender... Could be something along the lines of your exhaust hitting the bottom of the car or your intake hitting something...

An RPM-specific rattle tends to mean that something is loose and sympathetically vibrating along with the engine at that particular frequency.
Have you tried sitting with the car in neutral and revving the car to the same RPM where the noise happens and holding it there? If you can do this and get the rattle to occur you might be able to get someone to look under the hood and/or walk around the car and narrow down the source of the noise.
Things to check:
Heat shield on body above exhaust
Heat shields on catalytic converter
Heat shields tend to have the mounting points rust away due to the extreme heat and will then rattle.

well checked both and is neither...i dont have the heat shield above the exhaust because i have a header and the one above the cat is fine and not hitting

ok after taking another look at the car while its running i have a thought...
could it be that one of the pulley's is not tight and vibrating instead of just rotating?
from the looks of it one maybe 2 pulleys may be vibrating nothing major but a little
just a thought
