Default OBD3 and other warrenty voiders

OK guys at work told me that all new cars come w/ OBIII that logs your driving. I have heard of someone w/ a newer BMW taking his in for a small warrenty repair and they told him NO b/c he took it out on the track! Well i guess what i'm asking here is I tend to skip off the rev limiter sometimes and also pull some high G turns while heal towing, will any of this show up in my ECU and void my warrenty? And also whats this i hear about any after market (including TRD) if not installed by Toyota sertified pros voids warrenty? Can they keep take if they installed it or not? I paid the extra $1k for the extended warrenty and i want to keep it! :?:

If your TRD extras are installed by a certified tech at the dealer, they will be covered under the Scion warranty. If they are installed elsewhere, only the TRD warranty applies.

If you go aftermarket parts, obviously Scion's not going to warranty them. If your aftermarket springs break, any damage caused WILL not be covered by Scion.

If you put aftermarket springs on and you have an unrelated problem, like an engine problem, the springs won't affect your warranty. They have to be able to prove that it was caused by the aftermarket parts. Now if it's an intake and you have engine troubles, you may get into a gray area there...

Does this make sense?

The "guys at work" are wrong. Scions are OBDII.
