BEFORE retirement I was a hydro mechanical propulsion specialist. In plain ole english I rebuilt automatic transmissions for all kinds of autos. Loved it and don't miss it now. Computer controls made that field a challenge to keep current with.

NOT even on a good day..... When I retired I put my tools in the box and that is where they stay. Now I pay someone else to get dirt under their fingernails and cuts on their fingers. Love it this way too. Thats one reason I drive a toaster. Don't have to work on it.
