Yeah, that's true, but you also brought up an S2000, which is a good candidate too.
I kinda place BMW's in the exotic category. I've driven most of the "lower" series, but wasn't very satisfied with the price/performance. Yes they are excellent cars. . . this is ONLY an opinion of mine.
If I went for a BMW, it would have to be a 540 or an M3, which are very close to the price level of many exotics. . . anything lower and I would lean towards a G35(and then use the extra money on modifications). With the 528 and 740's were maintainence nightmares (the 7 was the latest gen, and we kept it for 4 months, then traded it for the LS430, as it was in the shop waaaaay too often considering how much we paid for it). But I am a fan of the 5 series. . . a very good all around sedan, and just about any car from BMW with an M on it.

howdy cool people that drive tha box
tha miz and i went to tha local bbq joint today and parked up front,when we came out there were about 7 people milling around tha box,some lady in a corolla was trying to figure out what tha heck it was,i have no emblems on the back so they were trying to figure out what it was.i had a ball talking to them,much fun,we have been thru 4 states in the last 2 months and i have seen olny 7 xbs lots of fun owning a scion.
