2005 Black, had it since November 2004. Only have 30K on the odo.

Still a great car, but it is getting long in the tooth and realize at some point it will have to go.

Scion killed the community when they took a gang bang mentality to the so-called 2nd generation. xB 1st gen have no choice but to leave to something else as there is no replacement for our cars.

Sometimes I get a kick out of going back to the older posts to read how stoked people were about their xB's. Oh well, life goes on.

Bought my new RS 4 in July 2007. Has less than 9K miles on it. It still makes me smile everytime I look at it. It is the favorite car to take on trips up to Denver to watch a ball game or go to a concert because it can haul 5 people comfortably. I hope to have this car for a long. long, long, long, long time.

Yup still have mine. Bought new in Sept of '04. I've got 3 other vehicles so the box only has 36K miles on it. ...Still looks great too.

Got my '06 PW xB @ 2 miles. Now he has 43k on him. I'm always tempted to get something fun and sportier than the xB, however I'm too attached to my appa that I don't think it can ever happen.

Picked up my BSP in August 2003. 115K on it now, and still loving it.
Still love as much as I did back then... and it still seems to get attention 7 years later.

Bought mine new in Dec '06, just hit 50K

I'm going to be buying an '11 xB2 when I get back from deployment, I've narrowed it down to silver but I'm really waiting to see what the next RS will look like. I honestly hated the xB2's when they first came out but they have really grown on me, took a couple years.

I'm not selling my '06 and never will, my wife more or less "stole" it from me so I need to get another daily driver

Nabbed an '04 BSP on 5/24/04 and traded it for an '05 RS2 on 4/8/05. Still have the RS2 and still love her just as much, actually more, than the day I got her. She has something like 76k miles. Don't plan on ever getting rid of her.

Parents have an '09 xB2 as well.

Bought my RS4 new in February of 07. Still have it with about 24k miles and only 11 payments left. At my current rate, I should have less than 30k miles on it when it's paid off. I'll admit I get a little bored with it sometimes, especially with the lack of power, but there's nothing else out there I'd even consider. It's going to be so nice to have a low-mileage, super-reliable car with no payments. I'll have a new toy soon anyway. My dad's health is deteriorating and he can't ride his motorcycle anymore, so I'm going to give it a good home. I've never been into cycles before so I still have to take a training course and get my license but it should be a lot of fun. Having the xB paid off will free up money I can use to maintain the bike if need be as well, so I'm looking forward to it.

I tend to agree with this statement. But, I do think a 'replacement' might be the Cube, or even the xD if you wanted to stay in the Scion family. Both, to me, are fun and quirky cars.

Also, still have mine since new. Almost trouble free. It came with a full tank of gas, and the tank is still full to this day !!!!!!!!!!!

Purchased my new 04/PW on 19 Jan 04. 44 DIY mods complete, and 40+ mods in differing stages of planning. I hope to really be able to accomplish mods more quickly, after I retire (when ever that is)! The xB will be my; toaster, box, fridge, & washing machine; for life! And if I have my druthers, its last duty will be as my coffin: Because no one will appreciate its uniqueness as much as I have!
Love the BOX,

I suppose I kinda fit into this. I bought my 2006 TCM xb brand new in '06. Put on almost 40k trouble free miles before giving it to the daughter and her new hubby for a wedding gift. I then replaced it with my current '06 RS3. I plan on keeping this one to give to my 5 year old when she's ready to drive.

Took a test drive in summer of 2005, and bought one in winter of 2006. Now has 35,000 miles.
I should have sold the xB two years ago when I got an automatic Forester for long trips, towing and snow. But the ad has not been placed, as the 5-speed xB with leather, moonroof, sway bar and TRD muffler is just too much fun for daily use around town. Also cheap to run, as it gets over 30 mpg and has never been to a shop even for oil changes or the 30K service.

Bought my BOP xB in Feb of 2005. Traded it in for a new Evo X in Feb of 2010. I keep coming back to this site to bring back old memories. I sure do miss that Box.
