Original 1st Gen owners
I was just wondering how many original 1st gen xB owners are still left. What I mean is how many of you bought your xB new and still have and enjoy it? Seem to be alot that have moved or planning to move on. I still have my 2005 BCP xB that I bought new in Apr of 05 and still enjoy the heck out of it. Sometimes I get a kick out of going back to the older posts to read how stoked people were about their xB's. Oh well, life goes on.

We got our 04 rs1 in 05 (forgot exactly when)used with 16k on it so i consider us being the 1st owner. Just hit 98k and running great exept for the cat that just went bad and minor cosmetic issues. My wife is pretty sick of the car but i still love it and refused to let it go. lol

bought mine brand new with 2 miles on it 2/23/07. Just hit 50K miles yesterday and still turning heads wherever I go hahas. I might talk about getting rid of the box but I never will. The only thing that will take my box away from me is a wreck.

My wife and I bought twin hot lava XB's new in o4. Both with 5 speeds. My xwife and I still have our XB's. hers 125k mine 65k. The XB's were the only thing we don't regret. Still love mine. Paid for and having fun doing some of the stuff everybody was doing then, for 1/10th of the price. Just picked up like new factory aluminum wheels for CHEAP. Looking for a oem leather steering wheel next...woo hoo

1st one April 06 Salsa pearl red/new 17 miles traded it for last RS model.
Current RS4 #303 Maziora "Torched Penny" 5 speed ordered October 26th 06
Took delivery Nov 26th 06 with 3 miles now at 39,000 and change would like to own a couple more.

I drove my current 05 off the lot on 1/23/05 at 1 mile, didnt even test drive it!
Currently says 90K on the ODO (which I know is wrong since the cluster was replaced and mileage reset at around 30K) about 25K on the built motor and 10K on the rebuilt/regeared trans. Clutch has 3K miles on it.
Needs a set of tires and for me to decide how I want the new paint job to look

Bought our '04 xB (Thunder Cloud Metallic) on 05/15/04. It had 2 miles on it.
The car was totalled in a hail storm on 05/14/10. (Note the dates!?!?!?)
When the insurance company paid us for the car, it had 84,400 trouble-free miles on it.
My wife demanded that I wash the car and vacuum it out, before the insurance company took it away.
She sat in the car and rubbed the dash and cried as the 'rollback' arrived.
Here's the xB just after it's last wash:
(Note: We still have the contractor's sign in the front yard from the hail damage!)
The only things we've ever done to that xB were to put 1 set of tires and brakes (other than routine maintenance), and we had just put another set of brake pads on the front, about two weeks before the hail storm!
We are now driving a "Magnetic Metallic" '11 Camry SE.
My wife wants HER xB back. She won't even drive the Camry!!
I've offered to buy another xB, but, she does NOT want a new one, nor does she want somebody else's.
She wants HER xB! (Too late. It's gone.)

'06.5 Salsa Red, Bought used in '08 w/18k miles on it. Been on the forums since '05. 
Still got it, and still smile every morning when I see it as I walk out the door to go to work.
First car I've ever had that felt like it was "me". Just deciding what I want to do with the paint.

Bought my 06.5 SRP off the lot in March of '07 with 54 miles on it. Now has 39,980 on it. Still like to drive it, but can't stand the bog when taking off. Thinking of selling for an '05 or '06 Mustang GT.

I got my 05 camo in 09/01/04 with 3 miles on it have about 73,000 now and have got bored with it.Ive been debating on selling it but it has so many advantages.Id never find a car that has room for 5 and can still get 30+ mpg,and last forever?I might just keep this as the daily and travel car and get me a toy on the side.

Original 1st Gen Owners
Picked up my RS 2.0 with 1 mile on it. March 2005. Still have it. 85k miles. 3rd radio and second DC Sport muffler. Other than that, no problems. Picked up 2nd Gen RS 7.0 XB with 1 mile March 13, 2010. Already have 8k miles on it. Son takes 1st Gen to collage and 2nd Gen goes to work with me. Wife will drive the Purple box, but doesn't like driving the Yellow box. Because of the color.

My 04 was ordered on dealers first stocking order in Jan of 03 PW
It had 140+k on when I got rid of it in 2006 due to family issue. I put every mile on that car myself it had under 2 miles first time i test drove it lol and when they let me actual take it on jun 9th i had already put 100 miles on test driving lol
Now I have my second 04 and am loving every minute of it!!!
