Default Plastic pillar cover removal

Does anyone know how to get the driver and passanger seat belts removed so that i can get the b pillar plastic covers off... Wasnt sure if the plastic piece on the seat belt where the height adjustment is comes off or not and didnt want to F something up.. Figured there was a bolt behind the plastic piece like the back seat belts.

PLEASE HELP.. I did search and couldnt find anything but if there is something or a walkthrough please post link.. Thanks..

I pull mine off almost weekly ,lol .... Yes behind the seat belt buckle is a bolt, it may be an 8 point screw though, either way, once you remove the seat belt the panel pretty much pops off, it has no other screw attachments, so work a side off the edge of the pillar and off it comes. However, you do need to remove the lower B pillar first, again no clips just pressure, work an edge after removing the molding and it literally falls out. Have no fear of breaking clips or anything they have none .. PM me if you have any questions ..

Yup, remove the cover, unbolt the 14mm bolt, then pull off the cover. Easy enuff to do. I did it to add my harness bar.

Guys,

I just bought a 2012 Scion XD, and I am not sure if they changed the design, but I am having a heck of a time trying to figure out how to get the cover off so I can gain access to the bolt that holds the seat belt to the pillar. I have attached a couple of photos that show what it looks like. Anyone know how to go about safely removing it so i can unscrew the bolt?

Thanks,

Doug

I seen "Plastic pillar cover removal" and since that was the subject I was seeking information on, I wasnt really paying attention to what forum name it was in. Slipped my mind to check the forum name. My bad. Sorry about that if it caused any trouble or inconvienance to anyone. Since my posting I have found the answer to my question.
