Tried doing a search but no luck. The vent on the left of the steering wheel does not close when the selector is on window defrost or air to flooryou can still feel the air coming out of the vent. it seems to be stuck in the open position. does anybody else have this problem. is there a quick fix or should i take it in to the dealer.

 

this is normal. same as the one on the right side. Most of Japenese cars are like that.

 

Well i checked the one on the right and it doesnt blow air when settings mentioned are selected... it just recently started doing this.

 

I think it's so you can blow it toward the mirror and defrost the glass there.

 

it blows out of the defroster vents and the two vents on the sides in my car. it would be that way to defrost the windsheild and the two front windows.

 

Seems like I read in the owners manual that the side vents are supposed to blow when in defrost. If your right side doesn't, then that is the side with the problem.

mine does this too! i think it does out of both sides though. i havent really checked the far right one though. i was just gonna ask about this tonight.
