Without a how-to from you, it didn't happen.

custom fabbed a cap with a cut key welded to the cap. ignition is completely disconnected tho. so nothing would happen if you tried turning a key in there. theres not much how to on this. all you need to know is how to hot wire a car. which i am not going to explain on the forum for obvious reasons. learn how to hot wire a car and it will be a walk in the park from there to make a push start

You still have to put the key in the ignition and turn it, right? This just seems like an extra step to turn the car on.

I would wire the push "start" button to the alarm system. Someone gets in your car, sees the push start button, pushes it and sets thew alarm off. They would have to see that button, and I seriously doubt they would not push it if trying to steal your car...unless they already knew about it. :D

All you need to know is how to hotwire a car? Do i want to know how you acquired that skill?

They are starting to charge for the app, so I'm not going to bother with it.
