I just got an 05 xB and my manual also says heated mirrors with a 15 minute delay, I'll check tomorrow and see if they get warm since it's starting to get cold in the mornings here.

For those of you who don't know, there are misprints in the literature from Scion and there are features that are not documented. Read and check out your own car! This forum is the best for info, but don't believe everything you read.

 

well, their might be some features we dont "know" about- but heated mirrors is not one of them- You must have missed the post were scion scion itself said that they are not heated....

 

Not heated.. I had windows and mirrors that were fogged over in the am, Flipped the switch and the rear defrosted. The mirrors just stayed fogged. I must have been stoned when I thiught they were getting hot.. :oops:

Ya, thats why I quit replying! I didnt want this thread turn into the one about tC's heater **** not being real aluminum- basically its the same principle- the wrong type of publication came out and people thought some was unique about the car- and it turns OUT TO BE A TYPO!!!

OOOOPPPPS!!!!

O well- what do you expect- I can only imagine how difficult it would be to launch a brand new car brand (IE Scion!)

I read someware that the Bb's have the option of power folding mirrors- are these heated?
