Dane's got a 1st gen... Assuming you mean the rear sidemarkers, you need to remove the bumper to get to em.

Dude!
With all the pics Dane's posted of that purty white Box of his here, and you mistook him for a Gen.2-er?
C'mon!

hahahahahahahahaha me a gen2 owner... mrfuzzy4 must have been tired or something because i know he has commented on some of my pics in the past...lol...we all make mistakes...

but yeah pulling the bumper is nothing, 2 screws in the wheel well and i think maybe one on the bottom corners should do it to drop it...

i am just too lazy to do all of that so i think i am just going to mask them off and paint them on the box, what will probably be a lot easier than pulling them...

and thanks boxoffice for the wonderful comments about my box

Default How to Remove Rear Marker Lights...

How to Remove Rear Marker Lights...

Tool for the process:

10MM gear wrench or ratchet
Large Phillips screwdriver

Step one is to remove the screw right behind the rear tire that holds that end of the bumper on on each side. once removed, pull back the skin just a bit so you can stick your hand in. find the 10 mm nut that holds the light in and remove it. do the same for the other side.

lol ya i just got up. i just saw the q and was like... rear bumper light? where... wheres the light. theres no light. the ugly element thing has one...

the TAILLIGHTS come off in like 4 seconds. 10mm socket wrench. go to the flaps in the back, open, undo. takes a bit of work to get at em though. what are you trying to do?

Damn, son! Forget how to read?

It's the rear sidemarkers, which aren't as easy to get to.
