Remove shifter?

Default Remove shifter?

does anyone know how to remove the shifter on a xb? i spilled juice in the middle and it makes a noise when i change gears. thanks

1) unthread you shift ****, just simply twist it off
2) in the rear cupholder of the center concel, remove the lil carpet square to unearth the screw holding it in place.... once the screw is removed, the front if the center concel just has 2 snaps to the floor
3) Then you'll see 4 bolts holding the white plasic shifter frame to the floor...
4) now there is a clip that holds the cable to the shifter, remove those and the cables should just pop off the shifter
5) now the cables will have a housing that snaps the outer sheath of the cable to the shifter from, just simply lift to snap those out




these directions will make more sence to you as you do it.... they're just hard to visualize, plus i'm a bad explainer..haha

thank you for the information but what i ment is the shifter **** on my automatic? it wount come out because i guess the cable that is running there wont budge.
