Default Scion.com Update

I went to the xB builder and saw some new options, but do not know what they looked like... Here is the list of new exterior additions

- Vehicle Shield Protection-Lusterizing Sealant, Sound Shield, Sealant Cleaner, Rental Car Assistance :?
-Rear Tail Lights by TYC
-Rear Tail Light Garnish
-Alloy Wheel Upgrade - 10 Spoke :D

I am not sure what the Vehicle Shield Protection will do for your car that good polishing and waxing cant and save urself about $300. The Tail Lights sound interesting, but again, I have not clue what they look like.

Do a search for TYC tail lights, this will lead you in the right direction. Average cost, $200

vehicle sheild protector is just an extra shot of clear..
or so that is in most cases at dealerships. You can request that with any new purchase.. Looks like they are trying to bundle it with some scotch guard and Road side assistance..

Are you saying a shot of clear as in clear coat or wax?

For $349 bucks thats a steal...Any body shop will charge more then than if they were to scuff, mask, shoot, and buff.

Its probably more like some polymer wax. Something that will easily come off with a couple of washes....Either way, not worth it.

rbloedow:
He said GST is offering it now, not SET. Florida AL etc are SET
ms la tx ar ok are GST. When you pulled that up it was only SET

However my zip 79936 is not offering it, though the rest of the options are showing up, nor is the other texas zip previously mentioned in this thread.

I also tried 39305 (MS) which is so close to alabama some folks backyards cross the stateline, still no cruise on scion.com for GST!

Check card in hand, when will these things be available? I am ready to purchase, I want the front mask like yesterday. I got a 1500 mile trip in April. Also the molded dash kit is it only carbon fiber? Thank you.

Correct, cruise is not on the website but ask your dealer about it.... since i have posted this my dealer said the system GST started to use as cruise (assumibly aftermarket) was really buggy and kept shorting out... he said the may hold off a while until a more consistently effective cruise set-up is determined... so i might be SOL about getting it install before my RS1 gets delivered.
