It is my understanding that the make of the vehicle is Toyota because it's actually Toyota who warrantees Scions. You don't take a Scion to a Lexus dealer for warranty work you take it to a Toyota dealer. Likewise you won't find new Scions at a Lexus dealership, only Toyota dealerships. Hope that helps clear things up a little. BTW it's a wagon according to Toyota/Scion.

 

my insurance company says it a "sport wagon"

 

i always have called it a CAN, cuz i wasnt sure if it was a car or a van either...

so for the slower members C from Car, and AN from vAN...that gives us CAN

 

Up here in the frigid north of Toronto, Ontario, my insurance classifies it as a wagon and a Toyota Scion LOL

 

I hope they aren't charging more for their MISTAKE of calling it a "sport" wagon. If anything for insurance purposes it should be classified as a MICRO- WAGON.

 

To call it a Toyota Scion you'd have to call a Chevy a GM Chevoret.
