today i parked in front of my job. a smaller car was parked in front of me. when i came out a big ___ suv had forced itself in the spot previously occupied by the smaller car! needless to say my car had enough scuffs and the piece that would occupy the fog light was hanging out. that snapped right back in but what should I DO WITH THE SCUFFS??? can u put compound on a car less than a month old??

call the cops and file a report ...i would call....who knows you may need just to buff it out, which you can do yourself, do you got any pics to show us?

 

i"ll post some soon.... i tried a scratch remover, but a couple are pretty deep.

im gonna rip the f------ windshield wipers off that SUV! and key it!

 

suv drivers are all asses.

 

call the cops now you dont want to wait too long....file a report already...so they can track the guy, so you can get his insurance company to pay for the damages, if he/she has insurance.....

 

definately call the cops...and get his insurance to pay for it...and if for some reason they dont have insur. then go thru yours and if it is easily fixable by a body shop and cheaper than your deductable then you insureance will probly pay for it out right.

 

what is ur deductable? mine was cheaper just to have it painted(might as well paint the grille inserts while they are off) but definately file a report. pics a good idea but it will probably come down to a he said - she said deal unless the suv has damage as well. good luck
