1. Can anyone recommend one over the other for lighting the floor?

2. Any brands to avoid?

3. Is a step-by-step described anywhere on this site?

Exactly what I needed!

Can you get Cold Cathode in hot pink? (It's for my woman, not that there's anything wrong with that.) StreetGlow seems to sell Pink tube, but I don't know if they're Cold Cathode.

I am not sure if there is any Cold Cathodes in pink but I think you could buy a white one and use a sharpie or somenthing of that nature to paint it....Im not sure though.

Make sure to check out the ICE section and see if there are any post regarding changing the colors on CC or making Special color CC.
