Is this how it is, or is there something wrong?

I have adjusted and readjusted, even switched to silver star bulbs, it still goes ramps up on the right side of both lights. WTF?

 

yup, should be like that. it's to be courteous to the people driving in the opposite direction of you.

 

And I thought I was the only one with this problem...
When I bought my xB new, it was like that also and I thought "That isn't normal" but I never had time to complain at the dealership. Good thing to know that it's normal after all...

 

It also to light up the ditch and stuff on that side of the road.
