Some New Photos Of Interior Lighting Mods.......
As far as a how to about the air vents, I am not sure if one exists but it is actually pretty easy to do. The center air vents are accessed by removing the center dash trim and then removing the radio. You then have enough room to get your hand behind the vents and just drill a small hole with the right size bit to hold the LED snugly in place. Obviously you can't firt a drill back there so you just spin the bit with your fingers since the plastic is quite soft it is not hard to do. The other 2 vents I accessed by removing the speaker grills on the top of the dash, they just pry up, and drilled the holes the same way by hand and stuck the LED's in. Oh I almost forgot, you do need to remove the speakers to have enough room though, 2 screws for each so it's no big deal.
As for wiring under the seats, I ran a wire from under the seats to the center of the dash where all the rest of the wiring is. It was pretty easy to do while I had the center console out to do the cupholder LEDs. I tywrapped them to the wires under the seats already then fished the wire through the same hole in the carpet that the existing wiring goes through and from there routed it through where the center console is up to the dash.
Hope that helps.
Thanks,
John
