Default SuperCharged xB in LA

I would like the owner of this xB to "please stand up"

Check this car out at http://tlc.discovery.com/fansites/ri...021004_08.html

"2004 SuperCharged Xb DTM Style Race Car — high school student daily driver. The Scion has full race interior, suspension on Yokohama/Voxx Scorze 18"s, and is supercharged for more fun! It's a head turner even in SoCal and it goes as good as it looks!"

If you look at that site........it says "submitted by glnmaurer". That's Glen Maurer.........the father of the kid that drives it. The kids name is Chase. I've never seen him post here. He's running a Power Enterprises supercharger. They say they don't have it completely tuned yet........still working on sorting out some fuel issues I guess.

That's Glen's car....really nicely done. SPFR is going to update his audio, and it'll be even sicker. It was in the lobby at SEMA last November, and he's been at a couple of recent shows...pomona and exposed.

His car needs a new grill. Just my opinion. Other than that, I think it looks awesome.

actually that's a shop car...they use it to advertise and promote the porducts they seel or are sponsored by...and as far as hp, the sc probably adds another 40-45 on it. I've seen their car and their work on the engine, very clean job.

what u expect for a supercharger for a 1.5 L motor. Honestly, i'm happy they did put the PE s/c on the scion. This kills that rumor that it doesnt fit. Don't forget that the PE supercharger was designed for daily driven cars and boost is low on it. Up the boost and upgrade the internals and you should be quick.

Glenn seems like a nice guy. Dunno about his son......I'm sure the kid's plenty nice.......but at SEMA he said a few things that just made me think "Yeah, whatever dude."

I don't see a real purpose with making the car look like he tracks with it--when all it does it sit at car shows.

Must be nice to have Daddy Dearest paying for everything.

I was looking around the internet and found this

http://www.toyotanation.com/showthre...threadid=28973

Glen mentions that it doesn't need a computer upgrade, and he is running about 123 WHP

I also looked at the JDM TRD Turbo parts and it looks like they are using a upgraded fuel pump as well as injectors and spark plugs, but no upgraded internals and they are running 7psi and are saying about 150 hp at the flywheel.

Now only if TRD introduced it in the US .

<EDIT> Oh yeah, Glen's website is highonscion.com , It is on his windsheild </EDIT>
